Looking Back: What We Built Together in 2025

As we settle into the new year, we’ve been taking a moment to look back at everything 2025 held for the O Warrior community. Honestly? We’re still a little bit speechless.

When we look at the photos from our 5K back in May (those smiling faces in the graphic!), we don’t just see runners and walkers, we see a family. Whether you joined us at the lake, shared our posts, or sent a donation, you are the reason this mission is moving forward.

Your Impact in Numbers

Because of this community’s heart and hustle, we were able to provide tangible, life-changing support to families navigating the omphalocele journey:

  • 21 Car Seats Shipped: Ensuring our O babies can travel safely.

  • 5 Jeffersons Purchased: Providing the specialized support these little warriors need.

  • 12 Family Grants: Helping take some of the financial weight off parents' shoulders during hospital stays and recoveries.

  • 18 O Angel Necklaces: Sent with love to moms to honor and remember their precious O Angels.

Through your generosity, we raised over $34,000 this year. Every single dollar of that went right back into the hands (and hearts) of the families who need it most.

A Huge Milestone for Our Community

We are also beyond excited to share a "first" for O Warrior. Thanks to your support, we are officially funding our first-ever community-funded omphalocele research grant to Boston Children’s Hospital. This isn't just a donation; it’s an investment in the future of care and better outcomes for every baby born with an omphalocele. We are so proud that this community is the one making it happen.

We have big dreams for the year ahead, but we can’t reach them alone. As we grow, we’re looking for more passionate people to join our team.
