O Warrior is looking to add a Board Member to our working board. Each member of the Board contributes time weekly to help move our organization’s mission forward, which includes acting as a committee chair on a committee of volunteers who are also giving their time each week.
For our open Board position we’re hoping to find someone that would want to lead our Education Committee. We value someone with a strong passion to be active and help the omphalocele community over time spent previously in a role similar to this one!
Roles and responsibilities:
Lead a team of volunteers in creating educational resources for use in the omphalocele community
Attend monthly Board meetings, contributing to agenda items and discussions
Help develop operating plan for the organization alongside other Board members
Act as a representative of O Warrior through interactions with businesses, physician offices, your social media posts, the general public, etc.
We’d love it if you have (but not required!):
A personal connection to omphaloceles, and a passion to help those affected by an O
Experience volunteering with another nonprofit organization or even better, experience being a part of a Board.
