Grant Program
PURPOSE
O Warrior grants are to be used to assist families currently dealing with an Omphalocele diagnosis. We provide financial assistance to those families to help with the costs associated with medical care, long distance travel, or special living arrangements. There are many extra costs that omphalocele families can be burdened with while ensuring their baby gets the proper care that they need.
Funds may be used for things such as hospital expenses, provider office visits, specialty care visits, medical equipment/supplies, travel expenses (including airfare, gas, hotels, rental cars), etc.
As we balance the availability of donated funds, priority will be given to families early in their omphalocele journey. (Prioritizing those in the NICU)
GUIDELINES
We accept applications for O Warrior grants on a rolling basis throughout the year
Each grant is $500, and each family may only submit one application every 12 months
Eligibility is for residents of the United States only at this time
Please complete the grant application below
A verification interview will be required
No part of the review process is based on age, sex, religion, race, creed, sexual orientation, disability status, or national origin
Before any funds can be disbursed, we require your story and several photos be submitted to O Warrior for use on our blog, as well as to help continue the support of this program
We will do our best to decide on your application within 3 weeks and we will notify you by email once a decision has been made
